Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Deskie — an AI voice receptionist and CRM for businesses ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

The Service

Deskie provides AI voice agents that answer calls, hold natural conversations, book appointments, and capture leads on behalf of your business, plus a dashboard to configure agents and manage calls, leads and appointments. The Service depends on third-party providers (AI models, telephony carriers, hosting) and, like any phone or cloud service, is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted.

Your account

You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate business information — your AI receptionist says what you configure it to say.

Free trial & subscriptions

• New accounts get a free trial (currently 7 days / limited minutes). No card is required for the trial.
• Paid subscriptions are billed through Gumroad on a recurring basis at the price shown at checkout. Promotional prices that are described as "locked" (for example an early-bird rate) remain at that rate for as long as the subscription stays continuously active.
• Cancel anytime from Gumroad or by contacting us — access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise at purchase.
• Plans include a monthly allowance of call minutes; unused minutes expire at the end of each billing cycle. Usage beyond the allowance may be billed at the plan's stated per-minute rate or paused until the next cycle.
• We may change prices for new billing periods with reasonable notice; a locked promotional rate is honoured as described above.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Deskie to:

• make unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or harassing calls;
• place unsolicited automated calls or messages in violation of telemarketing and robocall rules that apply to you (for example TRAI/DND regulations in India or the TCPA in the United States);
• impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent who is calling;
• record calls without the consents required by the laws that apply to you and your callers;
• attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.

You are responsible for the legality of your call campaigns, your caller lists, and the disclosures you make to callers (including, where required, that they are speaking with an AI assistant and/or being recorded). We may suspend accounts that put the platform, carriers, or the public at risk.

AI limitations

Deskie's agents are powered by AI. They are good, but not infallible: they can mishear, misunderstand, or state something incorrectly. You are responsible for reviewing bookings, quotes and commitments your agent makes, and for the accuracy of the business information you provide. Deskie is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical or emergency services, and must not be used to handle emergency calls.

Your data

Your business data, call transcripts and CRM records remain yours. How we collect and handle data is described in the Privacy Policy. You grant us the licence needed to operate the Service (process audio, store transcripts, display your data back to you).

Termination

You may stop using Deskie at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. On account deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including lost revenue from missed or mishandled calls). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date; continued use after changes means acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts of competent jurisdiction in India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence grants you non-waivable rights.
